Users can't access an item that is linked via an alias

Make sure the original item is located in a share point or in the appropriate Web folder. If it's not,
share the item that contains the original item and alias,
or move the original and the alias to a
shared area.

Make sure the correct access privileges are set
for the original item.
•
Try
stopping and starting the Web server.
If that doesn't work, recreate the aliases in the Finder directly on the server (not while logged on to the server).
